A Dream World of (Dis)Satisfied People

Linking my security, and the other conditions mentioned, to something beyond my control is inherently and logically flawed, because I will be weak if others do not give me what I want from them.

Imagine a small group of people, a community, the entire mankind, where every individual has shifted attention from ‘taking’ to ‘serving others’. Each person cares for totality of the rest. What could be better? There is harmony and peace, people feel secure and satisfied, and generosity and courage prevails.

I asked myself ‘Would there be any concern / dissatisfaction amongst people in such a dream world?’ ‘YES’ popped up immediately as an answer. But, this answer made the joy of my imagination even more profound. Some people (if not all) would be concerned because they will blame themselves and not ‘others’ by saying,  ‘I haven’t done enough. I need to give more before it’s too late’. Wow! What a noble cause for curing a person’s internal unrest!

This thought was so satisfying that I felt obliged in sharing it with others. That’s our dream world of (dis)satisfied people!
